The Day of the Dead is one of the most important festivities in Mexican culture, we celebrate the return to earth of our loved ones who have passed away. The celebrations of this important date have been taking place for a few weeks now throughout the Republic, offerings, parades, raffles, among many other celebrations; however, the most anticipated celebration is the “Great Day of the Dead Parade 2023”. This event, organized by Mexico City’s Chief of Government, Martí Batres Guadarrama, will take place on Saturday, November 4 in the Mexican capital, starting at the Puerta de los Leones de Chapultepec and will travel throughout the city until it reaches the capital’s Zócalo. This great celebration wants to show the world what is the ‘Day of the Dead’, show the catrinas, skulls, and all the colorful costumes that make our tradition one of the most important around the world.
